ENCOURAGING VS. DISCOURAGING

“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” Ephesians 4:29. Instead of criticizing others about what they are doing wrong, we must remember that although their lives may offend us, some of the things we are doing may offend them or others. We must let them know that we all are dealing with a God who has done something about our inadequacies, who understands our problems, and who deals with us in love, grace, and forgiveness. The promises of God encourage us to be soul winners and not soul destroyers. Christ gave the Great Commission to His disciples. He promised to be with them everywhere telling others about Him. We must take God’s great message of salvation to others. We have the divine promise that all those who respond and accept His gift of salvation shall be saved. If we plant the seed, God will give the increase. The Bible is filled with promises of what we can and do in Christ, so let’s only encourage others to do these things and not pass judgement. Everyone be safe and blessed! Love you all.
