The Bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood. We are in warfare and the warfare is spiritual. We are in warfare with the devil. Believe me, he is not going to let you have a vacation! I am so glad we have God to help us with our problems. Don’t ever think that when you get saved that it takes care of all of your problems. When a person gets saved, the devil sets himself against that person to destroy him, and he will stop at nothing to do it. Our Christian walk is warfare. We are in a life and death struggle with the powers of hell. The devil is trying to stop us, hinder us and destroy us. The devil will try to tempt you and lead you away from God. I don’t care who you are, you will be tempted to sin and turn from God. The trials and tests will come. People will and do suffer setbacks during these times. Most of us know what it is to fail God. Every time we mess up, the devil is there to tell us how bad we have messed up. The Bible calls the devil the accuser of the brethren. The devil is always telling us how bad we are and that there is no use trying to live for God. 1 Corinthians tells us:”There hath no temptation taken you but such is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it.” Because God is faithful, He sends a way of escape at the same time the devil sent the temptation.
