The Secret Place

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

The scripture says, He who dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High (God).” This is a condition. The Hebrew “dwell” means to sit down, to remain, or to stake a claim while resisting all claim jumpers. You can’t have the benefits of Psalm 91 without meeting the conditions. It means you live there, just as you live in your home. You don’t just live there on Sunday and Wednesday, you dwell there at all times. Jesus said, “If you abide in me and my Words abide in you, you may ask what you will and it shall be done unto you”(John 15:7). In other words, if you abide in Christ and His Words abide in you, you can live in God’s protection plan. That is the New Covenant way of saying Psalm 91. You must dwell in the secret place at all times. When we become born again there is no greater place than being in Him. As we seek the Lord Jesus and grow in the knowledge of Him, He becomes our secret place. In Him you are hidden. The enemy can’t find you because you are hidden in Him. The Bible says that there is a place that no fowl knoweth. (Job 28:7). It also tells us that there is a place where the wicked one can’t touch us. (1 John 5:18). To walk in these benefits you must meet the conditions. Don’t wait until things go wrong to run into the secret place. Stay in the secret place, dwell there daily. Remain in the secret place of the Most High God, under the shadow of the Almighty. The only way we, as born again believers, can remain in God’s protection plan is to discipline our daily lives to dwell in the secret place. Everyone have a safe and blessed day! Love you all!
