There are some relationships that are deadly to the children of God. We must guard ourselves from these deadly relationships. Whatever God has spoken to you through His Word is true.If He gives you specific instructions that seem unimportant to you the best thing you can do is obey them. He had a reason for giving the instructions. Sometimes he only wants our obedience. Don’t allow satan to cause you to disobey God’s Word. Satan is always standing by to undermine God’s Word. I don’t care who comes and tells you to do something else, you had better obey the Word of God. You should never use other people as examples of how to live your life. JESUS is your example! Watch the company you keep. One thing you have to stay away from is a Christian who is in sin. Ephesians tell us not to have fellowship with sin. If you are going to have a relationship with God, you are going to have to obey God and get rid of every relationship in your life that is deadly. You can’t obey any word, regardless of who it comes from, above the Word of God. The Word of God is the final authority in the life of the believer. We simply must conduct our lives according to the Word of God, and as the Bible teaches us, hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, (Jesus) and follow no other voice!
