Finding Time with God

Good Morning Everyone! “Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing you observe his commands, His laws and His decrees that I am giving you this day.” Deuteronomy 8:11.

There is a tendency in all of our lives to completely crowd out God. We allow a thousand minor items to displace the time to seek God or to displace Him in some way. The Bible says that we are stewards of the whole of life, not merely money. We all must give account of every day, hour, and minute that God has entrusted to us. We must find time to do all that needs to be done but we, above all, must find time for God. We are saved for service. So we must be witnesses. As witnesses, we must share our testimonies with others. Each day we must set aside time for our devotional life. We must read our Bible, meditate, and fellowship with God. When we do, God becomes real to us and we come to know Him as a friend and companion. With our quiet time that we have with God, we have new spiritual understanding when we take time to do good deeds, make calls, and win people. By doing this, we will find joy in wholehearted service. Today, I urge you to begin the work that God has assigned you to do. Be blessed, healed, delivered and set free in Jesus’ name! Love you all.
