“For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:13.
The world has witness many technological advancements. We communicate by means of satellites and travel at the speed of sound. New and exciting discoveries in medicine every day; they even say that man has walked in space or on the moon. Yet we, like the Corinthians, have not learned a basic truth that Christ sought to teach years ago. We are one in Christ and one before God. Distinctions of race or nations were wiped away by the all-embracing love of God! No matter how much we differ in culture or condition, we are one family. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., said, “No individual can live alone; no nation can live alone, as long as we try, the more we are going to have war in this world. Now the judgment of God is upon us, and we must either learn to live together as brothers, or we are all going to perish together as fools.” I totally agree!
