“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9.
Confession has its role to play in forgiveness. There must be that moment of clarity in which we see folly of our actions and accept responsibility for them. If nothing else, we need to turn around in order to head home. 1 John 1:9 says that, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins to clean us from all unrighteousness.” Why should we continue to conceal our transgressions and not be prosperous? When we confess them we will obtain mercy! We also can confess our sins to one another. We should not be ashamed to do so because we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! If you are carrying a heavy burden, confess it; let it go and “Let God.” Everyone have a peaceful, safe, and blessed day! Love all of you!
